About Our Team
We are a family team dedicated to telling community stories and finding avenues to touch on issues relevant to society today. Our flagship project, Lessons from 100, details the story of Jack Weber and the lessons of service, community, family, love, and resilience that all of us can carry forward into our lives.
At the core of our team is Barbara Weber-Floyd (Producer) and Matthew Floyd (Director). A mother-son duo, we bring a skillset that together extends across the spectrum of production. Barbara has multiple-decades experience as a business reporter and producer that includes work on PBS and CBS. Matthew (Matt) has already touched on a wide variety of the entertainment industry, working as an interactive editor for Nickelodeon, as a writer for IMU Studios, and a videographer in both a corporate and freelance capacity.
We started out in 2024 after discovering that the story of Jack Weber - Barbara’s centenarian father and Matt’s grandfather - indeed was a great story thanks to outreach from the Washington Post. Forming our own film company felt like the best way to get this story told, and we have been overjoyed to see our film enter into multiple film festivals and award nominations since the fall of 2025.
We are now looking to expand towards future projects that have a similar feel as our flagship project - melancholic, poignant, community-based, and ultimately optimistic, but not shying away from the hardships of life - that also touch on various multifaceted issues, like education, artistry, and independence around the world. We are hoping to collaborate with schools, theaters, and other organizations interested in telling stories together!
